resume-matcher.
ATS optimisation for job seekers in Germany
German job seekers often tailor applications manually without knowing whether the CV language matches the role, the ATS parser, or the recruiter's first-screen criteria.
International professionals applying for marketing, product, and operations roles in Germany
Live utility used in Berk's own 2026 job search workflow; next milestone is a public template library for German senior marketing applications.
Why it exists
Applying in Germany is a language and evidence problem as much as a qualification problem. The same experience can read senior or vague depending on how tightly it maps to the job description, the local role vocabulary, and the proof points a recruiter expects to see.
resume-matcher is a small tool for closing that gap. It does not write a fantasy CV. It compares the actual CV against a real role and shows where the evidence is missing, weak, or buried.
Current status
The live workflow is used for role-by-role CV tailoring during Berk’s 2026 search. The next version will add reusable application templates for German senior marketing roles: growth, brand communications, integrated marketing, and AI marketing transformation.
What I learned
The useful part is not “AI writes your CV.” The useful part is structured judgment: which parts of your experience match the role, which claims need stronger evidence, and which keywords belong because they reflect real work you have done.
